Boutte Snags Two in Preseason Debut with New England Patriots

Game Coin Athlete Ambassador Kayshon Boutte made his NFL debut last week after being taken in the 6th round of the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots. Boutte hauled in two passes on two targets for seven total yards. Boutte spoke with the media after the game, noting that he is adjusting to the speed of the NFL compared to college football, and he has a lot he can improve on going forward.

BJ Ojulari Activated from PUP LIST Ahead of NFL Preseason

After an offseason cleanup procedure on his knee, Game Coin Athlete Ambassador BJ Ojulari has been activated from the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list with the Arizona Cardinals. Ojulari was cleared going into the team’s first preseason battle against the Denver Broncos, but the Cardinals coaching staff chose to rest him as not to risk an injury.

Cade Doughty Smashes 15th Homer of the Season

Game Coin Athlete Ambassador Cade Doughty ripped his 15th homerun of the season with the Vancouver Canadians, the A+ minor league affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. Doughty looks to continue building on a great season to push for promotion into AA, AAA, and eventually the Major Leagues.

Percy Butler Shines in Washington Commanders’ Preseason Opener

Game Coin Athlete Ambassador Percy Butler, now in his second year with the Washington Commanders after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, had a day in his 2023 preseason debut. Butler secured two solo tackles and made an impressive interception on an overthrown ball to help secure the win. We hope to see more of Butler as the season gets underway, and he’s showing that he deserves the opportunity.
