Game Coin names Benjamin Freidlin as COO.
Game Coin has hired Benjamin Freidlin as the company’s COO to help complete the development and launch of the Game Coin platform.
Freidlin is a seasoned veteran in the industry, having served as a CEO, video game studio founder, game designer, and franchise creator known for his visionary leadership in the gaming industry.
Freidlin established Bit Fry Game Studios, forming groundbreaking partnerships with towering entities like Apple, NBA, NHL, and MLB. Under his leadership, the studio shipped two critically acclaimed video games, Ultimate Rivals: The Rink and Ultimate Rivals: The Court, both of which he created and was the principal designer of. The Court has been described as a game that “imagines NBA Jam with the action of Street Fighter” and as a “slick production” by Polygon.
He is the CEO Emeritus of Bit Fry, and remains the creative director of the games as his studio expands its distribution into the web3 gaming space.
His work has caught the eye of industry titans and has been featured in esteemed publications like Fast Company and CNET.
The late David Stern, former NBA Commissioner, who invested and mentored Freidlin, lauded his accomplishments saying, “Anyone who can do that deserves to be canonized... To me, that’s impossible.”
